It was a great honour for me to deliver a speech at an excellent business event organized on 8th March, 2016 by IBM Slovenia: “Technology is the engine of change, but people are the heart”!
My key message for the marketing executives was: technology is providing an unique opportunity for marketers to regain their strategic role in business! This is underlined by several important trends: understanding new cohorts, managing the consumer journey, and taking marketing to the strategic level. As a marketer today, one has to decide if he/she will bear a torch and lead the digital tranformation, or let himself/herself being marginalized in the organization.
Therefore, the golden age of marketing is today!
