MBA students at the University of Ljubljana, School of Economics and Business (SEB) are engaged in the “Business Consulting Project”, a part of the final assessment at the program. This Autumn I mentored the team that conducted a project for the medical marketing company Medis.
There is an old management joke: “Those who can, do. Those who can’t, teach.” 🙂 Despite the stereotypes, I believe that these two roles are strongly interconnected. I find the experience from business practice as an important success factor in teaching. Therefore, I am always open to collaborations that bring theory and practice together.
“Business Consulting Project” at the SEB MBA is a great way to do exactly that. I worked with five excellent MBA students: Ksenija Frelih, Miha Granfola, Ljiljana Lučić, Zoran Mećava and Urška Sušnik. They developed an outstanding output for the real business challenge, defined by Medis, a medical marketing company. Congratulations!
A big thanks goes to Alma Lieber, MBA Programme manager, who invited me to join the pool of team mentors, based on my previous consulting experiences in the pharma industry.
